Full Day Kruger Safari

No trip to the Eastern side of South Africa is complete without a visit to the world famous Kruger National Park. We offer a fantastic opportunity for guests to enjoy a full day inside the park and to enjoy all the wonderful wildlife sightings that are synonymous with the name Kruger. The Full Day Kruger Safari is operated in an open safari vehicle for your viewing pleasure and the max number of guests is 9 per vehicle. Pickup is available from any lodge in the Hoedspruit area and the safari will run for about 12 hours from pick up to drop off.

Half Day Kruger Safari

This is the shortest Safari into Kruger that we offer and is ideal for guests that have a spare afternoon in the Hoedspruit area and are craving some extra bush experience. The Safari is operated in an open safari vehicle and has a max number of 9 guests. The Half Day Kruger Safari last for 7 hours from pick up to drop off and guests are sure to enjoy some fantastic wildlife encounters. The afternoon is a great time to experience Kruger, the animals become more active as the sun sets and it starts to cool down.

Panorama Route Day Trip

The Panorama Route is the third most visited natural area in South Africa after Kruger Park and Table Mountain, this 8 hour trip to this famed route covers all the highlights and spectacular scenery on offer. Guests will get to marvel over the views from God`s Window and enjoy the vast views of the Blyde River Canyon. Also included are visits to the small towns, Graskop and Pilgrims Rest as well as Bourkes Luck potholes and Berlin Falls.

Swadini Dam Boat Cruise

This is an hour and a half boat cruise on the Swadini Dam at the tail end of the world`s 3rd largest canyon, the Blyde River Canyon. Guests will enjoy stunning views of the canyon and a chance to view hippo, crocodile and many water birds from the safety and comfort of a 21 seat boat.  The trip departs from Hoedspruit and the drive to Swadini Dam takes about 40 minutes so allow around 3 hours for this spectacular tour.

Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre

This is a fun and informative day tour to a centre that is highly involved in the conservation of rare and endangered African Wildlife Species. The animals are bred at the centre and they are trained for release into various reserves and National Parks in South Africa. The tour includes a open safari vehicle drive through the different breeding projects and informs guests on what processes are involved in keeping an endangered species from extinction. The tour at the Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre is 2 hours long and the drive to get there is 15 minutes so guests should allow for at least 2 and a half hours. HESC houses a number of animal species including cheetah, African wild dog, lion, African wild cat, Ground hornbill, Sable antelope, to name just a few.

Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre

Moholoholo is a centre that cares for injured and orphaned animals that have been affected by interactions with humans. They take care of a huge variety of animals from birds that have been injured flying into electricity lines to predators that have been caught in snares and many more patients. Some of animals are healed and released others are not so fortunate and must be taken care of for the rest of their lives. At Moholoholo guests will be able to learn about what practices are involved in caring for various wild animals and they will be able to interact with some of the centres permanent residents. The tour is 2 and a half hours and the drive from Hoedspruit will take about 30 minutes, guests should allow at least 3 and a half hours for this activity.
