Yay for the rain! We had a morning of rain in Kruger yesterday and were extra lucky to see these lionesses and their cubs drinking from a puddle on the road!

It is hard to describe what my guests and i experienced this afternoon in Kruger , it was just too exciting. We found a lone cheetah and spent most of the afternoon watching him change sleeping position. Not the most exciting experience but still great to see cheetah. It was when we left that chedtah that things got wild!. There was another cheetah with 2 Cubs just down the road. She was in hunting mode and had an impala in her sights. 100 metres down the road there was a big male leopard. The cheetah started her hunt and sped after the impala, the impala escaped. The impala bolted away from the cheetah and stopped right next to the leopard. The leopard then went into hunting mode and started stalking the impala who were fixated on the cheetah. Somehow 1 impala spotted the leopard and they managed to escape. What an amazing afternoon in the bush. Unfortunately i was too busy driving and guiding to get any photos or videos of the action but the memories and experience will be embeded forever.
