Day 1: Johannesburg to Kruger National Park. (Berg en Dal Rest Camp)
This morning your 6 day Kruger Safari will begin, the tour begins at 7:30 am and we will pick you up at your hotel or at the Johannesburg International Airport (O.R. Tambo). After a quick meet and greet we will load your luggage and waste no time in departing to South Africa’s most well-known National Park, Kruger.
It will take us around 5 hours to reach the gates to Kruger National Park, on the way there we will stop for a quick drinks break and leg stretch. We should arrive at the southern gate to Kruger around 12:30 and continue inside Kruger to Berg en Dal rest camp. When we arrive you will have a chance to enjoy an own expense lunch at the camp restaurant while we check in and off load the luggage. We will be staying at Berg en Dal for the first 2 nights of the safari. You will be staying in Traditional African chalets, the chalets have a thatched roof, twin beds, private wash room with toilet and shower, small kitchen and a small patio area to sit and relax.
Berg en Dal is in a mountainous area of Kruger National park and this provides a beautifully scenic backdrop to all photo`s. The area receives the highest rainfall of Kruger national Park and this in turn allows for stunning riverine forests to grow along the rivers. It is the perfect area for elephant and leopard and the area boasts the highest concentration of Rhino in the park.
This afternoon we will take you out on your first safari drive in search for some amazing animals. This will be a very exciting time for you and we hope to find something special on this first afternoon.
We will return to camp at sunset, start preparing dinner and enjoy the sounds of the African bush by the warm fire.
Meals Included: Dinner
Day 2: Kruger National Park. (Berg en Dal Rest Camp)
Today we will meet for some coffee early in the morning and then go out for a sunrise safari drive, we will follow the winding rivers as they head east and we will search the lower branches of the giant trees for any resting or feeding leopards. We also hope to see some elephant and white rhino and if we are very lucky we could spot a rare black rhino in this area. We will stop at a picnic site to enjoy breakfast in the bush and return to camp in the late morning.
We will have lunch back at camp and allow for sufficient time to enjoy the camp facilities before we go out for a late afternoon drive. The camp facilities include a swimming pool, small souvenir shop, a waterhole and a self-guided walking trail.
On this afternoon`s drive we expect the African wilderness to reveal itself in true majestic style as this part of Kruger is teeming with life! Upon our return to camp we will light the fire and enjoy the surroundings we are in. Dinner tonight will again be cooked over the fire while we listen to the sounds of nature.

We will then continue north and travel through a few different lion territories with some well-known lion prides, if we are lucky we may see the rare white lioness. We will arrive at Satara in the middle of the day just in time for lunch. You can go for a walk along the fence and spot some animals or you can go for a refreshing swim to cool down. After lunch we will go out on an afternoon safari, by now we should have found most of the animals you were hoping to see and maybe some that you were not expecting.
