The first stop on the 6 Day Zimbabwe Safari is Matobo National Park a beautiful area containing many lush forested valleys and the famous picturesque balancing granite boulders that are among the oldest rocks in the world. Matobo is also famous for fantastic Rhino sightings and a safari in Matobo alternates between a vehicle and walking safari, there are great opportunities to find the huge gentle giants on foot, this is an experience that is very hard to beat. While at Matobo National Park guests will also visit the awesome View Point aptly named “World‘s End” as well as some of the famous rock formations such as “The Mother and Child”. Matobo is also home to some of the most significant and best preserved San Rock art sites in Africa with some of the artwork dated over 10 000 years old!
