Day 1: Johannesburg to Kruger National Park (Skukuza Rest Camp)
Your adventure kicks off as you meet our friendly Kruger transfer team at O.R. Tambo International Airport at 7 am. From there, they will whisk you away to Hazview, a charming town just outside Kruger, where you’ll rendezvous with our experienced guide, with an expected arrival in Hazyview at 12:30 pm.
Savor a delightful light lunch (own expense), setting the stage for the excitement ahead. We enter Kruger National Park via Phabeni Gate a short 15 minute drive from Hazyview. A leisurely drive to Skukuza camp awaits, allowing you to take in the scenic beauty and enjoy your first amazing wildlife sightings. Your accommodation for the night is a cozy Rondawel with two beds, an en-suite bathroom, AC, fridge, and a private patio adorned with a table and chairs.
Skukuza camp, nestled on the riverbanks, offers a plethora of amenities, including a well-stocked shop, a restaurant, laundry services, and a refreshing swimming pool. Take a stroll along the fence walk, immersing yourself in the tranquil surroundings, and witness animals congregating at the river for a drink.
Later in the day, we will depart on a short afternoon wildlife drive, where you’ll have the opportunity to spot diverse South African wildlife in their natural habitat. Upon our return to camp, a delicious dinner awaits.

Day 2: Kruger National Park (Satara Rest Camp)
On Day 2 of your remarkable 4 Day Kruger National Park Safari, the adventure continues with an early start just before sunrise. Join us for a delightful cup of coffee before embarking on a captivating sunrise safari drive along the picturesque Sabie River. This area is renowned for diverse wildlife sightings, offering the chance to encounter elephants, lions, and hippopotamuses in their natural habitat.
Following the morning safari, return to Skukuza camp for a satisfying breakfast. Take a leisurely moment by the Sabie River, soaking in the tranquil surroundings, before bidding farewell to Skukuza and heading north towards Satara.
En route to Satara, enjoy a refreshing stop at a scenic picnic site for drinks. As we journey north, traverse various lion territories, home to well-known prides, with the possibility of a rare sighting of the elusive white lion. Arriving at Satara around midday, relish a delicious lunch and take some time to unwind, explore camp facilities, and prepare for the afternoon drive.
Situated in the grasslands of Kruger, Satara is a hotspot for grazing animals, providing an excellent opportunity for wildlife observation. The camp boasts a waterhole just outside, offering a chance to spot animals even while at camp. In the evening, savor a delectable dinner served at camp setting the stage for the highlight of the evening—an exhilarating Kruger night-drive.
Accompanied by a seasoned Kruger ranger armed with a powerful spotlight, venture into the park to uncover the mysteries of the nocturnal world. Experience the thrill of encountering active cats such as lions, leopards and servals along with other fascinating creatures like hyenas, porcupines, honey badgers, and more.

Day 3: Kruger National Park (Satara Rest Camp)
Embark on Day 3 of your immersive 4-Day Kruger National Park Safari with an exhilarating early morning safari drive in the captivating Satara area. Our primary focus is on the awe-inspiring predators that inhabit this region, including the elusive leopard, majestic lion, cunning hyena, swift cheetah, and the rare wild dog. With a stroke of luck, you may witness the thrilling spectacle of a predator on the hunt, showcasing the untamed beauty of Kruger National Park. Enjoy a delightful breakfast at a picturesque picnic site before returning to camp, satisfied and energized.
Once back at the camp, seize the opportunity to unwind and relish the camp’s facilities during the warmth of the midday sun. Take a leisurely walk along the camp’s fence, where you may spot some animals in the surrounding area, or opt for a refreshing swim to cool down. After an enjoyable lunch, we set out for an afternoon safari, where, by now, we anticipate having encountered most of the animals you’ve been eager to see, and perhaps some surprises that weren’t on your list.
As the sun begins its descent, we return to camp, basking in the glow of a Kruger sunset. Our day concludes with a final dinner under the celestial canopy, gathering around the crackling fire in the heart of the park. Share stories of the day’s adventures, creating lasting memories of your remarkable journey through the diverse and untamed landscapes of Kruger National Park.

Day 4: Kruger National Park to Johannesburg
On the final day of your fascinating 4-Day Kruger National Park Safari, the morning offers two enticing options: partake in a memorable morning walk (Additional Expense – must be booked in advance) or join us for one last exhilarating safari adventure. Returning to camp around 8:00 am, a hearty breakfast awaits, preparing you for the day’s explorations.
Post-breakfast, bid farewell to the camp, and embark on a leisurely drive to the exit gate. En route, anticipate one last thrilling wildlife sighting, adding a final touch to our Kruger Park adventure.
At around 11 am, we will meet with the transfer team from Hoedspruit, ensuring you have a seamless and comfortable journey. As you journey back to Johannesburg, the scenic route takes us through the Drakensberg Escarpment—the end reaches of Southern Africa’s longest mountain range. Be ready for breathtaking vistas and photographic opportunities as you wind through this stunning landscape.
Expect to return to Johannesburg between 5 pm and 6 pm, where you will be dropped off at the airport for your onward flight.
Please note that domestic flights should not be scheduled before 7:00 pm, and international flights before 8:00 pm on your return day from Kruger National Park.
